A fun treasure hunt in Talaiwald
The Talaiwald is located in St. Valentin on the heath, and is one of the most popular recreation areas for locals and guests. On 28 May 2011 opened a new trail "treasure hunt in Talaiwald", the brainchild of Karin Rain holder and Lukas Hofer.
Zipf and tapping, two larch cones, waiting for children and adults in Talaiwald. They live together with many birds and squirrels, deer and even with the cultivated larch trees.
The two larch cones accompany visitors through the leisurely trail and tell funny stories of forest animals who jump on the toes when you're quiet.
The great thing about this path is that the whole family can enjoy great fun, because even the little ones in strollers can come without problems.
At the 3km long trail, there are 13 stations. In addition to a tricky game rotation, invites Sägehütte to fell a tree, or even to be found in the feral tree maze to the correct output. But what you should not miss is the insect hotel, which was built by high school students. But we do not want to tell more, because otherwise it does not even fun anymore.
Zipf and tap have been waiting very eagerly awaiting the next visitor ![]()
The Andreas was very quiet, because he's already met the doe ![]()

Uinaschlucht - a wild cliff (2309m)
Anyone who is traveling in the South should definitely explore the Uinaschlucht: with hiking boots or mountain bike does not matter. For this extraordinary canyon is not only known alpenüberquerend, but also for mountain bikers an absolute sensation. Of course, no good condition to stay home
!
For hikers, the best place in the 1738m Schlinig Obervinschgau (South Tyrol) or Sur-En in Gardin at Ramounsch.
From the pasture Schliniger it always goes to the valley einwerts Sesvennahütte (about 1.5 h). After a short breather, it goes on. If one follows the northern gate No.18, can be reached in about half an hour to Schlinigerpass 2311m. Now we are no longer in the beautiful South Tyrol, now it says Hello Switzerland. Now it is not far to the Uinaschlucht. After another half an hour, the valley is already close and suddenly you find yourself on a shady path, which extends deep into the aussprengt about 800 m high vertical cliff dropping. Here you can hear the loud roar of the stream already. At the end of Uinaschlucht leads into a bright and beautiful valley - the Uinatal. At the foot of the mighty S-chalambert Piz is a courtyard, where you can enjoy its typical Engadine mood, refresh and strengthen itself. With full bellies, it is now away from the valley up into the Lower Engadine, where is located the small village of Sur-En and now it says last stop.
Glacier Trail in Martell
Shines in new splendor since this year the Stelvio Glacier Trail in Martell, the National Park. Located at the end of the valley, the glacier trail is nestled in a picturesque landscape: the eternal ice of the glacier, the steep walls of the panoramic mountains, the roaring waterfall, babbling brooks and merrily enchanted rock formations provide a unique and beautiful scenery. Start and end of the glacier is the trail parking lot near the Enzianhütte. The entire trail has a length of about 10 km and an altitude of about 600 m, where families can be selected for a shorter version. Of course there is also resting and lookout stations, and not many of our guests, the way this summer are already gone, were enthusiastic.
